Chapter Fifty Nine

I couldn’t focus on anything after I had that call with Henry; I still couldn’t stop the exhilarating feeling in my stomach after speaking with my daughter for so long. And that wasn’t the best part of it, I was going to see her, my Jasmine is coming over and I have absolutely nothing ready for her.

I rushed out of my room to the kitchen to see if I could come up with anything before she got here. I opened my fridge to find it empty; right how could I forget I hadn’t gone shopping I bluntly refused Father’s help when he decided to send some workers to go get my groceries.
