Papa

The morning sun spilled through the windows as Carol prepared to leave for her meeting. Her demeanor was calm, but there was an underlying tension in the room. She glanced at Claus and Mia, a silent acknowledgment of the challenges that is about to begin

"I'll be back as soon as I can," Carol said, her voice steady. "Keep working on the plan, and remember, caution is your best friend."

Claus nodded, his expression determined. "We won't let you down, Carol. Just be careful out there."

After Carol left, Claus and Mia were left alone in the cabin. The silence hung between them like an invisible barrier, both aware of the awkwardness that had settled in.

While Claus was working out, she could not take her eyes off him. One would argue that she was scared of all the new wounds ripping open with the force with which his body moved.

However, that is not the case with Mia. She knows Claus is strong. She has seen that happen countless times she can not worry more about it.
