Cody, emerging seemingly out of nowhere, approached Carol and Claus with an air of confidence despite the slight limp in his step. His presence was unexpected, and his sudden appearance raised eyebrows.

With a subtle nod of acknowledgment, Cody began to speak in a low, hushed tone. "I know where they are," he declared, his voice carrying a hint of both pride and desperation.

Carol, ever cautious and mistrustful, glanced at Cody with a raised eyebrow. "And why should we believe you?" she retorted, her tone laced with skepticism.

Claus, however, leaned closer, intrigued by Cody's claim. "Tell us more," he urged.

Cody, undeterred by Carol's suspicion, explained, "I've been keeping tabs on things. I overheard some chatter about a secret room within the casino. That's where they're likely hiding."

Carol's expression remained icy. "Why should we trust your information?" she repeated her mistrust of Cody evident.
