Chapter 27: Guardian of the Skies

The roaring tempest raged around them, blinding sands and fierce winds testing the guardians' resolve. But amidst the chaos, they stood united, their formation unwavering.

Sasha, holding the amulet high, shouted over the din, "We've come this far, and we won't be deterred! We need to find a way to communicate with it!"

Draken, his eyes locked onto the soaring creature, replied, "It's an ancient protector, Sasha. It might not understand words, but actions and intent."

Lysandra, her hands glowing with an ethereal light, said, "Perhaps it responds to the old magics. Let me try something." She began chanting in an ancient tongue, her voice harmonizing with the wind.

The creature momentarily hesitated, its massive wings causing gusts as it hovered, seemingly intrigued by Lysandra's chant.

Maris, sensing an opportunity, whispered, "There's a connection. Lysandra, continue your chant. Nebula, can you amplify it, resonate it across the cosmos?"
