As the rain continued to pour, Alex and I made sure that Jackson, the injured assassin, remained trapped and unable to escape. He shot us an angry glare, his face contorted with pain. Raindrops fell onto my face as I exchanged a knowing look with Alex. We both understood the formidable challenge that lay ahead - extracting vital information from this relentless operative.

"Let's find a quiet spot for questioning," I told Alex, my voice resolute. Given Jackson's extensive training and resistance to torture, we knew we had to be ruthless in our approach.

Together, we escorted Jackson through the rain-soaked forest, our footsteps echoing in the silence. We needed answers urgently, and time was not on our side.

Since taking him to a traditional interrogation room wasn't an option, we brought him to the cabin we had previously used to evade Alpha Lucas's men. Securing Jackson to a chair, we watched as the ominous shadow of the setting sun deepened the tension in the room.
