“I agree,” Drake said, his gaze still fixed on the old woman.

I felt a wave of relief wash over me, followed by a surge of confusion. Should I smile? Or cry? I didn't know how to react. I turned my attention to the old woman, who was grinning like a Cheshire cat.

It's the moon goddess's fault. She gave my enemies the upper hand, and now we're in this mess.

“Come with me,” the old woman said, gesturing for me to follow her.

I got to my feet, my legs feeling shaky, and I noticed that Drake had done the same.

“No, just her,” the old woman said, her voice firm.

“Why?” Drake asked, his brow furrowed confused.

“You ask too many questions,” she replied, irritation creeping into her tone. “I am the one treating her right now.”

“I'll be fine,” I mumbled to Drake, trying to reassure him. He pulled me into a hug, and I leaned into it, grateful for the comfort.

“Ugh,” the old woman muttered.

I pulled away from Drake, trying to keep my composure. I followed the old woman down a dark,
