Chapter Forty-eight

It was the worst day ever for Helen, it was a day she would never forget. She couldn't walk nor speak, she just sat, staring at the space weakly. She felt paralysed, she couldn't do anything, all she did was to cry, she cried her eyes out. It was indeed the worst day of my life, to lose two people she cared about. It was a sorrowful day.

"Madam please leave." A male voice brought her back from her wonderland, she just stared at him, too weak to reply, she ignored him and kept staring at the space, "Ma'am, we need you to leave, please. You have to leave, you are not allowed when the operation is going on." He explained but he didn't get any response than her cold teary eyes staring at her. She was soaked in tears. When the nurse saw that he was talking to a statue because she wasn't responding, he had to carry her outside the room, to the waiting room. She didn't object, she just hung on him like a lost child, her mind had wandered far.
