"What do you want me to do?" I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Giovanni D'errico will die by your hands."

The call was ended and I let out a shaky breath. I could feel my heart racing and a lump forming in my throat.

I gulped, my mouth suddenly dry. I couldn't believe what I just heard. Kill Giovanni?

I let out a shaky breath, trying to calm my nerves. But the words of the caller kept playing in my head like a broken record. It sounded like a death sentence. I knew I had to act normal, but how could I when my entire world was crumbling around me?

I tried to focus but my mind was clouded with fear and confusion. A hand clasps onto my shoulder and I look up sharply. Giovanni looks at me, concern written all over his face.

"Emily, what's wrong?" He asks.

I shake my head and try to smile "Nothing, nothing's wrong I'm just feeling nervous about what has happened so far.

"No, you're not fine. You're voice is jittery and you're hands are shaking. Emily, tell me what's wrong"
