Chapter 10: Responsibility

“W-water. . .” I hardly muttered as I felt my throat dry up. 

It feels like I haven’t drunk anything for days. I’m also feeling hot and my whole body is aching so badly that I can’t even open my eyes.

"Hey, are you awake?”

I gulped when I heard someone speak beside me.

That voice. It’s definitely . . . my boss.

I swallowed hard again when I recognized that voice and I even feel a lot hotter when the steam of his fragrant breath touched my neck. 

With all my might, I forced myself to open my eyes just to confirm if my hunch is true. However, I’ve got disappointed when I saw a white ceiling instead of his face.&nb
