He was stunned after hearing what I just said while his eyes gets bigger and his mouth agape. Perhaps, he was really shocked by now.

"W-what? You're not kidding, right?" he mumbled. I can hear the uncertainty in his voice.

I genuinely smiled at him and nodded as a response.

I just laughed when he suddenly screamed with excitement and hugged me tightly. After a while, he wrapped my cheeks in his palms. And that gave me a chance to stare at his deep ocean blue eyes that are now glistered in tears.

Aw, my grumpy boss is getting soft.
