RISSA'S POV

Soon enough, I was able to get rid of the guilt that had made it's way into my chest. Well actually, there was no way that guilt would have remained there. It didn't even stand a chance. The environment we were in was no place for sadness or guilt.

After the terrifying—yet awesome, roller coaster ride of doom, I couldn't find a trace of any other emotions, apart from petrifying horror and exhilarating ecstasy mixed together.

For the record, I'll pick this option a thousand times and over if asked to choose between amusement park and rotting in that monotonous inn all day. No matter the consequences.

"Oh God! I haven't had this much fun in fucking ages." I screamed immediately we stepped out of the roller coaster cars, unable to hide my excitement.

Thankfully, this city of ruins still had something interesting to offer. Something that adds life to the already dying city.
