DRAX'S POV

Slowly, all the sleepiness began to clear from my eyes, and the memories of the previous night slowly crawled it's way into my mind.

The kicks, the punches... Only now did I start to feel the effects of that fight. It has been ages since I did as little as dodge a punch, let alone throw one.

When my father was still alive, he used to teach me how to fight hand-to-hand combat. We would train together all day at the palace gym house.

My father was a skilled fighter. Not just as a wolf, but also in human form too. So he taught me a lot about martial arts.

Thanks to all his lessons, I was able to defeat those thugs that had attacked Rissa and Lily. Normally I would have opted for us to run away and avoid any physical confrontations, but then I overheard what they said to Rissa, and I understood what they were planning to do with them, and my intentions changed.
