Awake

Mia's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and felt the harsh rays of light piercing through the blinds. My head was pounding, and my mouth felt like sandpaper.

When I tried to move, I realized I was in “someone's arms!” I gasped in surprise and turned to my left to see who was lying on the bed with me, and to my surprise, it was alpha Ricardo staring at me blankly.
