Chapter 7: Home?

"Where are we going? This isn't the way to our house." Sophia asked, looking at Caden who was driving to an unknown route to her.

"We're married already Soph. We have our own home." Caden said, turning to Sophia who was busy looking at the outside scenery through the window.

Their house was located on one of the furthest hills not far away from the city. In fact, the city could be seen bustling at night since their mansion has quite a good view of it from up there.

Sophia spun her head to Caden hearing his reply, "Oh? Does that mean we also sleep together?" She asked.

Caden went silent for a second before forcing a smile and nodding his head, "Yeah, we often sleep together when I'm not busy." He said, concealing the whole truth from her.

Sophia could tell from the way his tone was changing that he was hiding something from her. She kept gazing at his face for a while before releasing a heavy breath, moving her gaze away, looking back outside.
