Zara's POV

My eyes went dark and worry rushed to my face the moment Andrew drew the car inside the giant gates of the complex where my first home was located.

“Andrew, you can drop me here,” I said with a fake grin. Obviously, I didn't wish to have me come to my home.

Nobody had been aware of my situation at home, and I didn't wish Andrew to get a whiff of how I was treated. Obviously, my father, Thomas and my step-mother, Carla would be downright angry on seeing me here. I couldn't even say if they would allow me to stay here or not.

“No, Zara. I will drop you till your doorstep, and please no more arguments,” he said, determined.

All I could do was put on the fake mask of happiness and think about how I would deal with my miserable family.

“Here's your house, Zara,” Andrew said, pulling the car at the entrance.

“Thank you so much, Andrew,” I said warmly before getting out of the car.

I frowned when I heard the car door opening and shutting down. Don't tell me Andrew just stepped out
