Josh pov

I stood watching Claire process the news Gemma dropped on her. Gemma wants to leave the pack and in a way I don't blame her. Lucas is doubting everything but she feels he is already rejecting her.

"shit will work out my love",she nods but looks sad still.

"we shall see",I watch her sigh again.

"I just think she needs time",she utters sadly.

"maybe she can stay somewhere else to get away from him",I sigh. I told Lucas to let her go to the apartments we have all are fully furnished anyway.

"I suggest our apartments to Lucas he may talk to her about it",she nods but sighs.

"if she wants to leave we should let her",my eyes go huge a male letting his mate run off is unheard of. Claire looks up at me and from her look I know if I didn't change and accept her I would of lost her.

"were you planning to leave if I didn't accept you?",she looked away.

"yes, her voice is low, I told Gemma I was going to sneak off if you couldn't accept me as I was",fuck me my mate was really going to run
