Lucas and Gemma Chapter 10

Lucas pov

The week goes fast and today Is today the meeting. Josh ordered warriors to surround the building and outside for protection. Gemma has been a crying mess all damn day so far. Victor came yesterday and hasn't left because he wants to be close to help us.

"ready baby?",she sighs.

"do we have to go Lucas?",she been asking this for two days now.

"yes baby we do, I hug her, I'm sorry my love but we have to show up. I will be there, so will Josh, Victor, my dad and Josh's dad so your going to be protected fully",she nods in my chest. Victor looks like he wants to hug her but stays standing close by. He looks tired which is weird for a vampire. Getting to the meeting hall vampires stand looking at Gemma. The head vampire looks happy to see her but she doesn't even look at him. His smile fades as she hugs me tight.

"we got this",Victor moves beside us and Gemma reaches for his hand. He lets her take his and gives a shaky breath.
