Chapter 87- Present-day

The next day she left her parent's place early in the morning as she wanted to reach the apartment before Carl Black left for college. These days he was living alone in the apartment, arranging everything before Lisa’s return.

Carl Black was having breakfast when the doorbell rang. He went to open the door and got pleasantly surprised to see Lisa on the doorstep. He looked at her, raising his eyebrows slightly. He was not expecting her so early in the morning. There was a faint smile on his face. He planned to go pick her up once he came back from college but he was thrilled to see her.

Lisa hugged him the moment she saw him and whispered, "I was missing you." 

He hugged her back and said, "I missed you too, my love."
