I slip out of my dress and tie my hair up in a pony. Is it just me or is it extra hot today? I was about to slip out of my underwear when I heard a knock on the front door. I wonder who that could be? It's 8 pm, I don't remember ordering anything? I pick up my robe from the bed and put it on.
I open the door to see Nayel standing there, the first two buttons of his shirt were undone, his hair was messy. I could tell he had run his hands through it one too many times and his jacket was rolled up in his hands. He looked exhausted. Our eyes meet and his face lights up.
"Hi" I smile at him.
"God am I happy to see you" Nayel smiles moving inside, grabbing my waist, and pulling me into a hug.
I rub his back gently, "Long day?" I whisper in his ear.
Nayel pulls away from the hug, still holding onto my waist, "I'm sorry for dropping in unannounced, I had a shite day and really wanted to see you" He lets out a sigh.

My slumber was interrupted by the alarm clock ringing in my ear instantly making me groan. I pull the covers over my head. I got home at 11 last night due to all the stupid traffic and all I wanted to do was take a day off today so badly but I can't on a Monday. I was finishing up with the dishes when I heard my phone going off. I wipe my hands with a washcloth and pick it up. My brother Jared was calling me.
