Mary's POV

I cannot believe Aaron would believe Clark over me. Even though I don't understand the reason why he was so rigid about it I felt that shouldn't be the reason for our breakup.

“I need to show Aaron that he was wrong about Clark.” I bit my nails angrily as I pondered on what to do and how to go about showing Aaron that Clark is not who he seems to be.

I was about to step out of the room when I heard the door creak open–Aaron stepped back in.

“Aaron? Does this mean he agreed to what I had said? Does he believe me now?” I muttered to myself as I watched him take a step away from the door which creaked open the second time revealing Clark–talk of the devil and he shall appear. I rolled my eyes in frustration and picked up my phone to leave.

“Please, I'm leaving okay.” I glared at both of them in anger.
