SAANVI'S POV

"Okay, Reeva. I should go now. Maa must be waiting" I said looking at my watch.

"Thank you for visiting me, Babe. I miss you" we both hugged each other, sadness engulfing us suddenly.

Biding her adieu, I sat in the cab and blinked away my tears.

Ughhh. These emotions.

Why is it so hard to say goodbyes? Especially to your close friends?

I got really attached to her in just a short span of time. We used to spend hours in each other's houses. Now, I don't have any friend there.

By five p.m. I reached my house.

I closed my eyes as the cramp suddenly hit me again. I did take the pill but as it was my first day. The pain will keep reducing and coming again.

"Have you locked the door?" Maa asked wrapping the shawl around herself.

"Yes, Maa. Now come and sit here" I said forwarding my hand which she took and sat beside me.

I bought an electric heater for us as the winters are going to be unbearable here. It's just early November but the weather is already bad.
