Her eyes watered as soon she saw her mother's dull face. She took less than a second before throwing herself in her mother's embrace. Tears started streaming like a waterfall, down her cheeks.

She didn't care if she was squeezing the life out of her mother's body. Her hold was tight because she was afraid to let her go.

"Areyyy main thik hun" Namisha said chuckling softly.

Her wrinkled hand started caressing her daughter's hair. Saanvi let out a relieved sigh on feeling her mother's warm touch.

"I..I go-ot scar-red" she stuttered after showering her mother's face with kisses.

Last evening, she got a call from her neighbour who informed her about Namisha. She was watering the plants in the garden when she fell on the ground. By god grace, the man who was passing by and is their neighbour saw her and immediately called Saanvi.
