Air and Water

Jenny's POV

"How can they be powerful elements when you can't hold them?" I asked.

Amber rolled her eyes at my question.

"Water can erode away the earth, can give life to the weak and can nurture growth. The wind can move or destroy objects. Never underestimate them."

"These elements are delicate but the most powerful and... they are always bestowed on women."

The last part Lily and Amber said at the same time.

Emily and I looked at each other and chuckled.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but why are they only bestowed on women?" Emily asked in a quiet tone.

"They are the most delicate of elements and require patience that we all know men do not have."

"Amen to that!" I shouted, causing everyone to laugh, including myself.

"Let's get this training underway. Amber, shall we start with air?"

"That's fine with me," Amber sat cross-legged in front of us.
