A mother's loved child

The tension that permeated the air between Azalea and Ayden was palpable, that she thought in her heart what she could say, to alleviate it. It was hard for Ayden to get rid of the sadness he was feeling, even if Azalea wasn't the one who caused it. They were sad thoughts that really hurt.

Just right when they got to the crossroads that could lead to the palace, Azalea sighted Hendrix walking closer to where they were, and quickly called out to him. It was really a relief to see someone, who could probably be able to get Ayden out of his current shell.

"Master Hendrix!" Azalea called out to him, as he looked around to see if his ears were doing the tricks, "Over here!" She further directed.

The moment Hendrix eyes diverted to the direction Ayden and Azalea were approaching from, a beautiful smile tugged on his cheeks in accordance to the emotion he was feeling. It was so elating to see Azalea healthy and radiant, like someone who hadn't gone through so much in the past few days.
