A narrow escape

Azalea and Ayden sat outside the royal infirmary in the cool outdoor breeze, watching the fireflies perch from plant to the plant and lighting up the surroundings beautifully. The scenery of the flies in display was a really nice one to gaze at, even with the absence of the stars or moon that were meant to give light to the dark cloud.

Ayden who continued to pass side glances at his maid, whose eyes was focused on the herb garden and flies, bothered that the mild breeze that carried along with it cold, could make her condition worsen. He slipped her left hand in his right hand gently, feeling it constantly like he would be able to tell, if she felt cold in her body by the temperature of her hand.

"Are you sure that you are fit enough to sit here with me?" He finally voiced out, turning to look at her through the right side view of her still pale face. He really worried so much that as persistent as she claimed fine, she could be in pains.
