Trouble

Edla laid silently on her intricately carved wooden bed, crossed with semi-quarter plain curtains drapes that hung around the four corners of it. She had been staring at the ceiling that for so long, with her head filled with so many muddled thoughts.

Since the party had ended and the masked men incident that she had to hid under her dresser in fear, she had not been able to meet Coral or even spoken much with Eadlin.

Yes, Eadlin. She had not seen her sister come around this days to tease her like she always done, or take the serious matters that Edla really cared about with levity.

She didn't even really see Eadlin around during the party, and that, she had not really considered anything big till now. It was definitely weird.

'Was she already fed up of being the only one that frequently came to her own room and not vice versa?' Edla thought meaningfully and sighed. She really had not the wherewithal, to even stand up from the bed or go anywhere, but regardless she did.
