Dante’s POV

I was surprised when Evelyn greeted Willow, I knew their last encounter wasn’t a pleasant one and Willow had refused to apologize to her no matter how hard I tried to make her see reason.

“I don’t want to talk to you Evelyn, please mind your business” Willow replied rudely, I couldn’t understand why Willow disliked Evelyn so much when she had only been nice to her.

“Willow please, she was only trying to start up a conversation,” I said to Willow calmly.

“It’s nothing Dante, I was only trying to let her know that your arrangement with me wasn’t from a place of hatred_”

“What arrangement?” Willow asked before Evelyn could even finish her statement. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest as Evelyn's words hung in the air. Shock washed over me like a tidal wave, leaving me speechless and frozen in my seat. What was she trying to do? How could she reveal my plans to Willow without my consent?

“Willow let’s talk about it_”

“Dante is taking me as his new queen” Evelyn blurted
