Anaya

The only thing that came to me was, “Wow,” I whispered.

The spectacle in front of me showed me the definition of the word ethereal. I could see the enormous expanse of several mountains from where we were standing on a cliff. At the summit, the sky-high mountains were shrouded in fog. Clouds swirl over the peaks, blending with the fog.

The setting sun appears to roll in a golden scarlet glow before sinking beyond the dark horizon. As the red fireball blasted countless flaming sparks, the forest and mountains continued to sparkle with light orange and yellow lines.

The entire slope is covered with green. The mist is like silk wrapped around its waist, and the sun shines through each piece. Raindrops on the foliage have transformed into vibrant pearls.

Waterfalls cascaded down the hills and joined the river pouring down the hill’s feet. The only sound in the magnificent setting was the rushing of the fall. As waters wind toward the river, they add to natural twists and spray i
