My phone's incessant buzz woke me. It was Ben who called. I answered his call. "Boss, we're ready," he declared.

I questioned, "Ready for what?"

He responded, "Uh, the meeting we had with the new buyers. Did you forget?"

"Shit! I will be there in ten minutes," I said and cut the call. Damn, how can I forget this?

When I turned around, I noticed my wife sleeping. She looked like an angel while sleeping. When I remembered the events of the day before, my thoughts became jumbled once more.
