JEREMIAH

I feel much better after going down into the dungeons. When I get back up and into the castle, I notice that it is very close to dawn. I head back to my chambers as now I have myself back under control. I now feel as if can face her and maybe even apologize. I am surprised and a little alarmed when I enter my chambers and see Emma standing in her normal spot in the middle of the room instead of under the window where I have been finding her lately.

I am even more surprised when I smell her blood. I am sure I didn't do anything to her to draw blood and, with her healing, it wouldn't smell as fresh as it does. I dismiss it and move around the room and take note that there is a book sitting open and upside down on the chase, so she was reading under the window at some stage before I entered.

I smile as I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her. Again, I don't plan on doing anything to her except maybe apologizing to her, but I t
