After a while, it feels like Ali is burning up; I put my book down, move Ali's head, get to my feet and then pick her up. I carry her to the bathroom, turn on the shower and step in, allowing the cold water to wash over both of us.

It works and Ali's temperature comes down a little. I snap my head to the door as I hear someone knock. I put Ali down, making sure she is still under the cold spray, step out of the shower, grab a towel, and head to the door. I open the door and immediately lower my eyes as I say,

"Sir..."

He pushes past me and hisses, "Where is she?"

"Sir?"

I ask in question; he turns back to me and grabs me by the throat, pulling me up so that my feet are now dangling as he hisses again,

"Ali? Where is she?"

"B... Ba... Bathroom..." I rasp out, still not looking into his eyes.

He drops me and storms off into the Master's bedroom and then into the bathroom. I don't move. I hear the wate
