Chapter 29

Ezra’s POV

“Here’s your key. That’s the duplicate copy. The original one was given to Alpha Ryler,” the servant said and handed me a key.

It is an average key size but I think I need to make a keychain for this so I won’t lose it.

“Thank you!” I replied.

She nods her head at me and gave the room one last look before darting her eyes at me.

“You’re lucky,” she said and left the room after shutting the door close between us.

I bite my lips inwardly to stop myself from smiling widely. I know my future here is uncertain and this is definitely not permanent, but I also do not want to rob myself from being happy over small things.

For others, having their own room might be not big of a deal, but for someone like me who grew up sleeping in the floor’s small living room with no privacy at all, having a room is such a luxurious gift.

I slowly step inside the room. My eyes wander around with my lips slightly parted. I still could not believe that this room is mine.
