I looked to my side and couldn't help but smile. Beau was sound asleep beside me and I didn't blame him. It's nearing midnight and we've been out since around 4 in the afternoon. Nothing hurts the most then seeing the person you had come to love more than anything laying limp in the dirt with blood oozing from his wounds and mouth after a fight. It's been three weeks since the whole accident happened and today Derek was finally getting discharged from the infirmary and I couldn't wait to see him once I got home. I woke up feeling a heavily weight on my chest and looked down to see a sleeping Beau and couldn't help but smile at his peaceful look. I woke up to the sound of screams and the scent of smoke. When Derek and I entered the cells that held the three hunters, I expected to find three battered and screaming men wanting to get out and kill but that wasn't what greeted us.
