Hundred and Seven

As they approached the car, Dwayne felt an unexpected flood of thoughts surging through his mind. Emma's words echoed through his head with intensity, and questions he had tried to suppress began to surface.

Unable to shake off the internal turmoil, Dwayne hesitated by the car. Melina, sensing his unease, asked, "Dwayne, is everything okay?"

Dwayne, a furrow deepening on his brow, struggled to find the right words. "Melina, I... I think it might be better if you stay back at home. You've been through a lot today, and getting some more rest could be beneficial."

Melina, puzzled by the sudden change, questioned, "But the meeting, Dwayne? You said our insights are crucial."

Dwayne, his inner conflict evident, replied, "I know, Melina. But you need to take care of yourself and the baby. Anna, would you mind staying with Melina? I think it's important for both of you to rest."

Anna nodded in agreement. "Of course, Dwayne. Melina, let's head back inside. You really could use some rest."
