As I stood on the balcony, the cool breeze carrying snippets of Vincenzo's conversation, I heard him say without turning around, "You can come forward, Bella."

Caught off guard, I hesitated for a moment before sighing softly and stepping into the room. Vincenzo ended the call and turned to face me, his expression a mixture of concern and irritation.

"Enzo," I began tentatively, "you don't have to keep everything from me. I can handle it. You can open up to me, you know? Don't worry so much about my well-being."

His jaw tightened, and his eyes flashed with a combination of anger and fear. "How could I not worry, Annizah? You're my wife, and you're pregnant. The most important people in my life. I can't afford to take any risks with you."

I took a deep breath, trying to stay calm in the face of his intensity. "I understand that, but keeping me in the dark only makes it harder for me. I want to be involved, to know what's happening. We promised to share everything, remember?"
