Amber Pov

Before I could answer Melvin, I was preceded by Phil's voice from behind me. When I looked at him, I saw that his face was serious and his eyes were narrowed while looking at me.

"Do you need anything from Amber, Sir Salvatore? Why don't you just tell her now?" Melvin asked Phil with a serious face. It seemed that he didn't like that Phil will take me home and he had no intention of letting me go with our boss even though he had no right to me.

If Melvin didn't seem to like the idea that I will go with our boss, Phil also seems to hate the idea that I will go with Melvin. For sure, he hates that idea not because he is jealous but because he doesn't want to lose his employee. But they didn't know that I don't want to go with any one of them.
