(A big mistake)

‘I think I made a big mistake'. Kathleen muttered under her breath as she finally freed herself from Gloria's arms, right after crying for an hour and half. She had a throbbing headache, her neck hurt and her eyes were as sore as ever—this was the end of it all, she lost the job of a lifetime and was down to being the stark broke Kathleen again....It was only a matter of time before Mr Garrison started bothering her again for the new rent payment.

‘You didn't make a mistake', Gloria stroked her best friend's hair, ‘You broke down and you did what any rational person would do. You lashed out and you let your boss know about the unfair treatment he's putting you through—i'm sorry you're going through this Kathy'.

Kathleen sniffled, tucking her hair behind her ear, ‘Like it's just not fair. He does these kind of things, trying to sabotage me and i just don't know why'.

‘Maybe he's jealous'
