Chapter Forty Three: The Accident

‘Where did she go?’ Clark thought

He saw that the group had left Gaby in her place. It seemed that they were going to approach the waterfalls. He said goodbye to the woman he spoke with and planned to close Gaby when Gaby suddenly went missing. Clark came and turned around until he saw Gaby walking on the rocks. He immediately followed Gaby but suddenly disappeared again. He turned around and looked for Gaby, but the woman was not there. He took a few steps above the rock when he noticed the tall, long python crawling behind the rock, so he looked over there.

‘Shit! Gaby!’ Clark thought.

Clark slowly descended upon the rock. Gaby sat on the lightly sandy side below the rock. She snapped when the far side of the python’s body crawled over Gaby’s thigh. There was fear on her face as she closed her eyes. Clark waited for the snake to get away from Gaby’s body before he approached Gaby.
