15 — Look at me.

By the next moment, the players start moving, and the loud, shrill sound of shoes slipping on the floor amidst the cheering makes me feel a strange excitement, especially since I can't take my eyes off Jasper, who is moving so fast that sometimes it's hard to see him. Several times he crosses the court in a matter of seconds, and I wonder how anyone can be so fast and agile.

However, all my thoughts are interrupted when Jasper makes the first basket, rising in an incredibly high leap and burying the ball ruthlessly, holding tightly to the basket. The reaction was immediate — everyone in our school stood up, shouting words that I cannot understand, but I can tell by their expressions how excited they're to open the scoring with such an incredible basket.

I don't know anything about basketball, it's true, but that basket seems impressive to me.
