Austin's offer

I can't believe if Austin is the one who has just asked for my forgiveness. I thought he was satisfied with what he had done to me. But I guess I made him feel the other way around, 'ashamed' of his actions. That was a good sign that he was still a good person deep down in his heart, even though he tried to cover that good side with arrogance and rudeness.

I just decided to forgive him because even when I tried to report him, nothing will be done and on top I might even get fired. So, there is no need to continue being angry.

I returned to the office and since working hours were over, I got my purse, so I could get out of here and just go home. This had been a terrible day for me and I just wanted it to end, so I could just forget about it.

“See you tomorrow, Olivia. Thanks, too, for today, you are really a good friend. I appreciate it so much.” I said to her,

“Don't worry. Girls are supposed to look after each other.” She said, as she was also leaving.
