"Son, you don't have to be mad at us, we're not your enemies". Hearing her voice, I nearly lose it when both arms of my mate wounds around my torso and her soft lips meet my cheek.

"Calm down Silver, we're only here to talk. They might be your enemies but they won't hurt...they can't even" My mate, by fueling Silver's bloodlust fortunately helps him simmer down and dissuade from taking any drastic action.

It's a surprise though, she's not one to just say something like that. Gingering my wolf's desires makes him feel acceptance and that gives him a certain feeling of superiority, making him revel in self-fulfillment.

He knows he has her support so he won't act rashly. Crazy how that works. I sigh, relishing in her tight hold on my body as I surprise her by suddenly diving my nose into the back of her ear and taking a deep inhale.

She jumps away and I laugh, "Sorry, you were so daring right now it was hard not to kiss you so I sniffed you instead".
