I watch her from where I stand at the doorway. She pushes her glasses up her nose and flips a page to start writing. She’s been this busy since we returned to the Pack a week ago. Working on her school project.

“You know you don’t need those glasses, right?” I walk in, gaining her attention. Yumi lifts her head to see me and smiles a little. “I’ve gotten too used to it…can’t help it”.

“Take breaks occasionally. I know you need to work hard on this to get a good score…just, don’t stress too much,” I advise, stroking her cheek and she nods childishly.
