I sat on the sofa in the room. I haven't slept here since the night we had dinner with our families. I just slept in the sitting room upstairs after Athena has gone to bed and I still wake up before her.

Athena laid Ava on the bed with her. She sat on the bed, looking over ava.

"I'm sorry. It was all my fault that happened to our daughter. I gave you my word that I wouldn’t mess things up but I didn't keep to it." I spoke and my voice echoed in the room.

She turned off the lights when she got into the room, I could only see her shadow.

"Shut the fuck up,Creed. We are both at fault, don’t you close your eyes if you are sorry about this." She said quietly and everywhere fell silent again. I heard sniffs come from her.

"Are you crying?" I asked worriedly. I got up from the sofa and I climbed the bed. I felt Ava's forehead to check her temperature.
