“My parents are coming to see you tomorrow.” Creed broke the awkward silence between, I knew he had been watching me as I was breastfeeding Ava. I am so confused at the moment but I know it won’t take long before I have everything figured out.

“Okay, is your mom coming too?” I toyed with the tips of my baby’s clothes, knowing he is an illegitimate son of his family makes it a little harsh to call that woman his mom. She wasn’t ashamed of treating him like a piece of dirt.

“Yes, I need a favor from you about that.” He came close to me and he saw that Ava was sleeping. He took her from my arms and put her in her cot without waking her up.

“Go on, make it short, I need to rest early incase Ava wakes up anytime from now.” I acted like I wasn’t really interested in what he was saying. I can’t be caught lacking. Never!
