“Hello, Is this Mrs. King speaking?” A voice said to me as I picked up the call and opened the door with Ava in my arms.

“Yes, how may I help you?” I put Ava in her baby chair. I pulled my bag from my arm. Shit! I didn’t take Ava’s bag from the car.

“Your husband has just been admitted to a hospital, he got involved in a car accident. The situation is so brutal.”
