The Consolation
Trisha didn't want to wake up at this point. She just wanted to stay in her dream world with Kanda where she was safe, warm, wanted. Everything was perfect there. The waking world? Not so much.
A soft cough at the foot of her bed made her sit up and rub her sleep blurred eyes. The sun was just rising up at this point, its weak rays barely highlighted the figure at the end of her bed. Her kitten didn't attack this one. If anything he was rubbing against him? "Nakuni?" Trisha called as she yawned. Who else would Claw approve of?
"Sorry, I thought you might already be up." Ryan's soft voice filtered to her ears and Trisha grabbed the covers and pulled them to her neck.
