My head was still swirling after the information I got from the girls who were having a gossip. I gulped down and paced around the dungeon, trying to think but screaming in frustration when not a single thought was coming through.

I hated feeling this way. I hated being in a situation where I couldn’t provide a solution to help me out of a situation.

Just then, I heard slow footsteps and then, caught sight of Mason who was walking over to me. He had this look of concern on his face and a little bit of worry too. It was night already and I couldn’t help but think of why he was yet to get some sleep.

“You should use this…it would keep you warm”, he said as he gave me a blanket.

I really needed that…or should I say that I didn’t really need that? The truth was that I could use my powers to keep myself warm even if the dungeon was as cold as a freezer. However, that didn’t seem to be what I wanted to do at the moment.
