EPI 57 TOURING THE HUMAN WORLD

I wobbled toward Maddox who groaned in pain as he sat back on the floor.

He stared at me and sighed, “Maddox, are you doing okay?" his mum asked but his eyes never left mine.

I watched how worried his mum was and the feeling of jealousy swept through me.

Here his mum was getting so worried for him but he ended mine when I was just ten years old. I stopped on my track, not moving toward them anymore.

“Leave," I ordered, recalling how brutally my parents were killed.

His countenance held that of bitterness but couldn't say a word, “You bitch! If he wasn't powerful, he would be dead! Mind your damn power!"

“I asked you both to leave!" My voice was so stern and held power.

“Yo.."

“Mum, let's leave, she must be feeling uncomfortable," Maddox stopped his mum holding her wrist before she could utter another sentence.

I watched her calm down and help him up, “You are only safe because of him, don't forget that” She let out and shot me another glare while I watched them walk out of the door.
