Alpha Derek's POV

I looked at her face with a heartbroken expression, plastered on my face.

We were back at the pack house now.

I was trying to avoid giving an answer to the question she had asked me on our way down here.

My eyes roamed over her body, and my heart clenched in pain. Why were bruises all over her body? No, the question would be,

Why was she trying to kill herself? I glanced at her bruises again and sighed.

It was almost like a patterned design on her body. I was doubly sure that Tania had wounds on the parts of her body which were hidden by her clothes.

I drew closer to her,

"Tania.... Are you in pain?" I questioned, although I knew my question sounded silly.

Why would a person covered in bruises not be in pain?

Wouldn't that be ridiculous?

I expected her to answer me, but she avoided my gaze and looked through the window.

"Tania, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the way I acted back there. I just-" I paused when she moved away from me.
