Chapter 47

Tania's pov.

My feets seemed to be rooted and my neck was stiff as my eyes were fixed on the ground.

"Welcome Tania" kai's voice calls out to me with a strange cough that accompanied it.

I felt my eyes move on their own accord Toward Kyle who had a confused look on his face.

Just then I realized how I had made such a fool of myself, I had dashed into the room chasing after Jenna who knew what was behind these doors only for me to find the whole family sitting around the wide and long table.

Seated by the table were Kai, Jenna, and Kyle as well as some other servants that were tending to the food and the family.

There were also some people scattered across the room but in an orderly manner which made me squint my eyes.

Judging by their manner of dressing I draw a quick conclusion that they just are the security team.

I know Jenna had said something about the security being tightened but I had never for once imagined that it would have anything to do with guards standing at the dining ha
